on the road (update)

Well, here we are in Plain, Washington (near Leavenworth) for our family reunion. It’s been a long time since we were all together. We’re actually staying at Mountain Springs Lodge. Wanted to drop an update to say I’ve been posting pictures to my flickr account which you can easily see by going to the reunion link under the [Mobility] menu option.

Day one was nice. Nice and warm until the sun went down. The kids played outside a bit and later had some s’mores – after dinner of course. And as a special treat we get wifi! It’s just a little spotty but I found a nice little spot where I get full signal. And yeah, doing my best to stay away from the computer until everyone (mostly) hits the sack.

There’s only one negative to this trip and it’s my lame back issues. It’s been acting up – mostly tired and stiff. Normally I’d just do whatever anyway but I need to go back to work. Worse part…not being able to go horseback riding (at least not if I plan on going back to work ASAP – which I need to do!).
