I’ve been out of the loop on this so I decided to watch a bunch of news clips and Youtube videos.

Here’s my freedom of speech…

Can’t say I don’t disagree…

But as far as the protesters – Specifically type of protesting… I’d suggest you all resign from your jobs and quit school! Show them who’s boss! Let the rest of us who want a job and education have it. That way the rest of us can buy a house. The way I see it, if you all do this, then the 1% will take your homes and sell it to me cheap! Win Win !! And thanks!

On a more serious note…

The first amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

What does it mean? My interpretation of peaceably to assemble is stand there and speak, not yell. Chanting is irritating. If your are sitting on a bus and some dude is repeating “I like apples” for your entire trip, you’re gonna lose your mind! Same thing. Peaceful demonstrations rarely stay peaceful with those “Special” people who like to jump on the bandwagon so they can have an opportunity to create havoc. If you want a peaceful demonstration and someone gets out of control and starts to throw bottles or cause damage, you have two choices. 1. knock their ass out. 2. leave or get whooped because you are with them.

Well, I have been busting my butt trying to find a way to get my site up and running the way I wanted. All I wanted was a simple clean site where I could have a mobile photo sharing blog. Well, it seems the only way to do it is with flickr. Well, I don’t want flickr! I want to host my own photos! So I created a totally convoluted crazy messed up back end with so much work involved just to create one single post. Yup. I managed to utilize more than three plugins and three steps just to make a single post. This is of course not ideal. I wanted to be able to create a gallery of photos from my iPhone and upload in a single swoop. (Yeah, I know I can do that part.) Integrating it into looking good is beyond a chore at this point.

Then there was the whole template issue. Good grief! Simple and plain please! Well not only did I manage to create a lot of work for one post, I managed to succumb to flickr. Seems it’s the only one that integrates nicely amongst WordPress, iPhoto, and my iPhone. The others are bulky and somewhat fugly. I’ll elaborate on that more when and if I find the time.
